Hi, I'm Jeff.

I’m a seasoned product experience designer with over 15 years of experience creating intuitive user experiences and innovative interfaces. My work focuses on merging physical and digital design to create products that are intuitive, reliable, and deeply satisfying to use.

I specialize in designing complete product experiences for hardware and software systems, making complex interactions intuitive and delightful. I collaborate closely with industrial designers, engineers, and product teams to create end-to-end experiences that solve real problems.

Product Experience Design 
I design complete product experiences that make complex systems intuitive and delightful to use. This involves creating interactions between users and products, designing comprehensive feature logic, and ensuring every touchpoint feels natural, purposeful, and elevates the brand.

Cross-functional Collaboration 
I work closely with industrial designers, engineers, and product teams to create cohesive experiences. Together we ensure that physical interactions, digital interfaces, and system behaviors work together to create products that users love.

End-to-End Process
From concept to launch, I ensure every detail aligns with the product's vision. This includes prototyping complex interactions, validating designs through user testing, and overseeing production to maintain quality standards.

I love working with teams who are passionate about solving tough challenges. I enjoy digging into complex problems, especially when it comes to making sophisticated systems feel simple and enjoyable for people to use.

My process starts with understanding the big picture. I talk with industrial designers, engineers, and product owners to learn about constraints, opportunities, and the product vision. Then I work to align user needs with business goals, always focusing on how the design can make the product not just functional but delightful.

Prototyping is central to how I work. I create quick iterations to test ideas early, then refine them through user testing to make sure every interaction feels natural. Whether I'm working with industrial design to perfect the tactile feel of a button or designing the logic behind a complex interface, I bring careful attention to detail that helps the final product connect with people emotionally.
I stay hands-on from initial concept through factory production to ensure the product meets high standards for usability, quality, and design.

I live in San Rafael (20 minutes north of San Francisco) with my wife and our two wonderful boys. My free time is spent being a dad, exploring Point Reyes, taking photos, and playing music.
